Finding Hope for Depression
At one time or another everyone experiences depression, whether from a loss, a life transition, hormonal or biological causes or a negative situation or toxic relationship. You do not have to bear the weight of your depression alone! Being able to talk through troubling emotions and get support and coping tools can help ease your pain. For many, working through issues from the past in a caring, supportive environment can lessen depression and foster hope. I am sensitive to the family dynamics and life events that contribute to depression. I take an integrative approach which includes looking at the ways in which diet, exercise, social support and healthy mind-body practices can improve depression.
